Which vaccinations for dogs are mandatory?
A minimum 14 days prior to any boarding, all dogs must have had any ONE of the following three recommended nasal kennel cough vaccines: Nobivac KC, Canigen KC or Bronchishield KC. All three give a year of protection as an added precaution to keep your pets healthy and happy.
Can you provide veterinary treatment?
Greenacres enjoys an excellent relationship with our local vets and can take your dogs for treatment or advice. However, a fee is charged for transportation. We can take the boarders to their local vets and give them the prescribed medication. Just bring clear, precise details with you, or inform us over the telephone.
What should I pack for the dogs?
All dogs receive a treat before bedtime but you can provide us your own. We have no objection to toys, however, squeakers aren’t allowed as they can cause stress to other dogs. Avoid small toys, as they can be dangerous. We have a good selection of dried food and tinned or packaged meat and mixers, but you can supply your own. Please keep us informed and provide food for any dogs with special dietary requirements. In addition, we provide plastic beds, blankets and towels, though you can bring your own. We only use our own bowls, which are disinfected with special cleaning agents.
